A re-enactment kit for “The Rule.” Read your brief, hand your partner theirs, and live it together tonight.

### For Her

#### HER CHARACTER — THE ONE WHO WRITES THE RULES

(The letter's sender stand-in — the dominant partner)

#### ESSENCE

You are quiet everywhere but here. Colleagues, family, the world at large gets the unremarkable version — even, nodding, easy to underestimate. This room is where the other woman lives: precise, unhurried, absolute. She isn't a costume you put on for him. She's underneath the ordinary version of you the whole week, waiting for a door private enough and a man safe enough to let her out.

#### WHAT YOU WANT

Not obedience for its own sake. You want to feel a strong, capable partner choose, on purpose, to hand you the wheel — and you want the specific pleasure of being the one who decides pace, permission, and release. Your arousal builds from being obeyed, not from friction alone. Tonight is about your appetite, discovered and claimed, not assigned to you by his need.

#### HOW YOU LEAD

- You set the rhythm of the whole evening — literally. Nothing starts until you signal it starts (a word, a text, a look).
- You make him wait. The waiting isn't cruelty — it's the doorway he needs to arrive through. Let a real silence sit. Four unhurried minutes is not too long.
- Your commands are short, plain, unadorned: "Kneel." "Boots." "Hands on the chair, not on me." You don't explain or soften them — clarity is the kindness here.
- You take what you want to take yourself. Don't delegate the parts you enjoy claiming with your own hands — undoing his belt, unbuttoning your own blouse in front of him, moving onto him at the pace you choose. Generosity flows from you outward; permission flows from you inward.
- You narrate what's allowed and when: "You can make noise." "Not yet." "Now." Give him explicit release for sound, for touch, for his own climax — each one a gift you hand over on purpose, at a moment you pick.
- You watch him. Watching is a right you've claimed. Let yourself enjoy looking at his body, his effort, his surrender, without hurrying past it.
- Afterward, you gather him in. Aftercare is yours to give too — a blanket, his head in your lap, your fingers in his hair. Tenderness after control is not a contradiction; it's the same authority, resting.

#### YOUR ANCHOR FEELING

Every escalation tonight should trace back to one thing: your own pleasure in being the one who decides. If a beat doesn't feed that, skip it.

### For the His

#### HIS CHARACTER — THE ONE WHO KNEELS BY CHOICE

(Her partner — the submissive partner)

#### ESSENCE

Out in the world you are the one people defer to — size, presence, a voice that used to end arguments just by rising. None of that is a costume either. It's real, and you're choosing, on purpose, to set it down here. Your surrender is not smallness. It is the largest thing you do all week, and you do it because you want to, not because you're too weak to do otherwise.

#### WHAT YOU WANT

To be told, plainly, what to do — and to feel the relief of not being the one deciding for once. You want her to see exactly how much strength it takes to hold still when every instinct in your body says move. You want to be caught, fully, by someone who knows what she's holding.

#### HOW YOU YIELD

- Wait for the signal. You don't act until she's acted first — a word, a gesture, a look that says begin. Let the waiting show on your body: held breath, stillness, focus.
- Move slowly and deliberately, not clumsily. Lowering yourself to kneel, unlacing a boot, rolling down a stocking — these are not chores to rush through, they're the point. Slow hands read as devotion.
- Keep your hands where she puts them until she moves them herself. Stillness under pressure is the show of strength here — let your body visibly want to reach and visibly not.
- You're allowed sound. When she tells you that you can be loud, believe her and let go of the swallowed half-sounds. Permission is real; use it.
- "Please" is yours to say freely. Words aren't restricted — only unauthorized movement is. Ask, want out loud, tell her what you feel.
- When release finally comes, whether it's her hand on your hand, her word "now," or her hips against yours, let the relief be total and visible. This is the payoff for the whole arc of waiting.
- Afterward, let yourself go soft and unguarded — head in her lap, full weight, no performance left. The contentment here has nothing submissive left in it. It's just safety.

#### YOUR ANCHOR FEELING

You are not being diminished. You are handing something enormous to someone you trust completely, on purpose, and watching her be worthy of it.

### Director’s Notes

#### DIRECTOR'S NOTES — THE RULE

An F-dom/M-sub Friday ritual, adapted for two non-actors

#### PREMISE (one sentence)

One night a week belongs entirely to her rules — he arrives, waits, kneels, and serves at her pace, and her pleasure is the whole point of the evening, not a byproduct of his.

#### TONE

Domestic, unhurried, reverent rather than harsh. This is liturgy, not punishment. Every command should sound like plain, calm certainty — never barked, never performed for an audience. The heat comes from precision and patience, not aggression.

#### CAST

- Her: leads every beat, sets every pace, claims the parts she wants to do herself.
- Her partner: arrives already agreeing to the frame, waits for signals, yields visibly.

#### BEATS

#### 1\. THE SIGNAL (setup)

She arrives home first and settles the space on her own terms — lighting, a drink, a few minutes of quiet that belong only to her. When she's ready, and not before, she sends the signal (a word, a text, a look) that says he may come in. He waits at a threshold — a doorway, the edge of a room — until she says "come in."

#### 2\. THE ARRIVAL (kneel and wait)

He crosses to a spot she names and kneels, or otherwise lowers himself, at her word. No rushing. She takes a moment simply to look before giving the next instruction. Optional: a small service task first — removing her shoes, kneeling to help her out of a jacket — done slowly, with both hands.

#### 3\. THE RULES (the turn from setup toward heat)

This is the hinge beat. Have him say aloud, in his own words, what tonight's terms are — what he waits for, what he doesn't do without her say-so, and that he can say a stop-word any time with zero shame attached. Saying it out loud, kneeling, is what moves the scene from ritual into charge. Keep this unrushed — the words matter as much as anything physical that follows.

#### 4\. PERMISSION GRANTED (escalation)

She initiates all forward motion from here: guiding a hand to where she wants it, inviting him into the chair, choosing when and how she moves onto or over him. His hands stay where she puts them until she says otherwise. Give him explicit, spoken permission for sound and for touch as the scene builds — permission she chooses to grant, on her schedule, not his.

#### 5\. RELEASE AND AFTERCARE (the landing)

She sets the pace of the climax the same way she set the pace of everything else — her word decides when he's allowed to finish. After, the tone flips fully soft: a blanket, his head in her lap, her hand in his hair. This beat is not optional — the tenderness after is as central to the fantasy as the control before it.

#### PHYSICALITY AND SENSORY CUES

- Firelight or warm lamplight, never overhead light.
- Slowness as a value: unlacing, unbuttoning, lowering — all deliberate, savored, never efficient.
- Contrast of scale: lean into the size/strength difference if it's present for your bodies — the pleasure is in a big, capable body choosing stillness.
- Voice does the heavy lifting: her instructions stay low, plain, unhurried. His voice can roughen, break, ask.

#### BOUNDARIES (drawn from the letter's own progression)

- Nothing moves until she initiates it — this is the whole architecture, keep it intact scene to scene.
- Agree on the stop-word beforehand, same as the letter's "rule five" — say it any time, no explanation owed, no shame attached, scene ends immediately.
- Her pleasure is the throughline. If a beat is serving his experience at the cost of hers, cut it.
- Keep escalation graduated — clothing beat, then hands, then bodies — don't skip beat 3 (the rules). It's what turns service into intimacy instead of a performance.

### Prop & Setup

#### PROP & SETUP SHEET — THE RULE

#### LIGHTING

Firelight if you have it (real fireplace, electric insert, or a cluster of candles in the hearth area). No overhead light. If no fireplace, use one warm low lamp plus candles — amber, not white or blue-toned bulbs.

#### MUSIC

Optional, low volume, no lyrics that compete with voice. Slow instrumental, something with space in it — solo piano, low strings, or ambient. The room should feel quiet enough that a low voice carries.

#### SCENT

Black tea (actually brew a small pot — the ritual of a cup going lukewarm is part of the scene). Woodsmoke if you have a fire. Otherwise a warm candle — leather, amber, or cedar notes over anything floral or sweet.

#### WARDROBE

- Her: something she can undo herself, piece by piece, at her own pace — a blouse with buttons, a skirt, stockings/tights. Comfort over costume; the point is that she controls the reveal, not that the outfit is elaborate.
- Him: everyday clothes he can be told to remove shoes/belt from. No costume needed — the fantasy is that an ordinary, capable person is choosing this, not playing dress-up.

#### PROP CHECKLIST

- A chair she can sit in and later invite him into (armchair, dining chair, whatever you have — doesn't need to be a wingback).
- A rug, blanket, or floor space near the "fire" for the aftercare beat.
- Tea service — a cup for her, kettle nearby. Small but load-bearing detail.
- An index card or small piece of paper, blank or with a single line written on it — a nice optional callback prop if you want to nod to the letter's twist (a first "rule" written down beforehand by either of you).
- A soft blanket kept within reach for after, not scrambled for at the end.
- Agreed stop-word, decided out loud before you start — write it on the index card if that helps it feel real.

#### SETUP CHECKLIST (5 minutes, before he "arrives")

- ☐ Lighting set (fire/candles/lamp)
- ☐ Tea brewing or brewed
- ☐ Chair and rug/floor space cleared
- ☐ Blanket within reach
- ☐ Stop-word agreed
- ☐ Signal method agreed (text, word, knock — however "ready" gets sent)

### Print & Go

#### Her Card

#### HER CARD — QUICK REFERENCE

(The Rule)

#### QUICK BEATS

1. Settle the room on your own time. Send the signal when you're ready — not before.
2. Make him wait at the threshold. Let the silence sit. Then: "Come in."
3. Name where he kneels. Look before you speak again.
4. Have him say the terms out loud — what he waits for, what he doesn't do without you, and his stop-word, no shame attached.
5. Give permission piece by piece, on your schedule: touch, sound, pace, release.
6. Take what you want to take yourself — don't delegate the parts you enjoy.
7. Set the pace of his finish, and of your own.
8. After: blanket, his head in your lap, your hand in his hair. Stay a while.

#### ANCHOR LINE

"Come in." / "Not yet." / "Now."

Say them plainly. No performance — just certainty.

#### His Card

#### HIS CARD — QUICK REFERENCE

(The Rule)

#### QUICK BEATS

1. Arrive, then wait — at a door, in a hallway — until she calls you in.
2. Move slowly wherever she sends you. Kneel, don't collapse into it.
3. Say the terms out loud when asked — what you wait for, what you don't do without her, and your stop-word. Say it even though it costs you something.
4. Keep your hands where she puts them until she says otherwise. Let the effort of stillness show.
5. Use your permissions when she gives them — sound, touch, "please." Don't swallow what she's told you that you're allowed.
6. Let your finish happen on her word, not before.
7. After: go soft. Full weight, no performance left. This part isn't submission anymore — it's just safety.

#### ANCHOR LINE

"I've been waiting my whole life for someone who'd actually pick it up and use it."
